Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Houston, Oklahoma City or Midland

Working closely with the Operations and Reservoir teams you will be in a technical sales role responsible for generation of sales of Ziebel’s Z-System® and related services and the development and performance of all activities necessary to achieve revenue targets and profitability, in line with the company’s strategic plans and forecasts. You will find yourself multitasking on simultaneous projects and must be prepared to develop and grow the customer base. You will be expected to maintain focus on quality and safety in your work, and will be responsible for performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities / tasks:
o Maintain all HSEQ standards as set forth by company policy and customer contracts and ensure personal safety and the safety of others at all times.
o Promotion of Ziebel services and applications to secure sales to US oil and gas operators.
o Development of opportunities into closed sales (PO’s and/or contracts).
o Development, support and maintenance of existing customer accounts/relationships.
o Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
o Capture customer requirements and align with appropriate Ziebel application/ answer; feed-back market needs to Technology and/or Reservoir groups.
o Prepare and deliver presentations of Ziebel services and solutions as required, for customers, conferences, exhibitions and events.
o Assist internal groups in product development and improvements to deliverables.
o Preparation of quotations, tendering documents and market research.
o Participate as required in contract negotiations.
o Follow-up, secure and validate customer purchase and service orders.
o Preparation and delivery of internal communication on competition, market information and knowledge.
o Sales pipeline maintenance and monitoring of opportunities.
o Ensure invoice follow up and timely payment by customers.
Formal Qualifications & Experience:
o Experience of sales and business development within the oil and gas industry.
o Strong networks in the oil and gas industry in the US, particularly the onshore market.
o Technical background preferably from well intervention and/or wellbore logging.
o Reservoir understanding is preferable.
o Relevant University degree or suitable industry experience.
o Dynamic and proactive
o Inclusive, positive, open and honest.
o Excellent command of English is required.
o Spanish would be an advantage.
o Clean driving license and ability to travel overseas.
o Must be a US citizen or possess a valid visa to work in the US.
