The combination of Distributed Temperature (DTS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) brings a whole new dimension to real time understanding of the performance of the well and the reservoir.

A semi stiff  composite carbon rod containing optical fibers is injected into the well. The whole rod is the sensor and it is parked at the bottom of the well during the entire operation.

The data screens are transmitted to the onshore operation centre where the technical experts can experience ”Reservoir Live” - Ziebel’s unique system for understanding well behaviour, flow patterns and well integrity
